Title: Jerrod's Journal and Letters

Journal Entry 1
I have arrived in the town of Hlint. It seems a fair town and one that I could live in for the rest of my years. While I feel it is a good town there seems to be a great deal of enemies nearby and they should pose a good challenge to my abilities. I will still wander the lands and return to Krandor to see my family and jac Smithson but I do not feel that I will ever return there to live. I have gone through the broken Forest may times and I do not fear the undead but I do find the battles against them very unsettling.
I have fought against many forms of the undead that wander the lands but find the ones in the Broken Forest to be of a greater challenge than most. I have even fought the Spectres that prowl the Dire Wood and though they have caused me to be greatly damaged almost unto death, Vorax smiled on me that day and preserved me so that I was not slain. yet I do not find them so unsettling. Mayhap it is because of the grave in the Broken Forest. I wonder who that grave belongs too.
  Letter to Mother and Father
  Mother ad Father=
I have just arrived in the town of Hlint. I will be staying here for a while. I am not sure for how long but I will visit and bring ypou all up to date. Hlint is a much larger town than Krandor and I have to say that I might live here for the rest of my days. The town seems to be beset by enemies and I fel that I can do a great deal of good here by helping to keep the surrounding areas clear of the enemies that prowl them.
I have grown in my abilities with my sword. I have used some of my hard earned coin to buy a new sword that is made of iron and it is a much jbetter sword than my old copper one. I have also upgraded to iron chainmail that is much stronger than the old copper stuff that I used to wear. though at times the enemis that I fight seem to be able to cleave through it as though it did not exist.
I have been curious about something for some time and if you could give me any answers I would be very grateful and appreciative. Who's grave is that one which lies in the Broken Forest? I saw it recently when I was going throught the Broken Forest and was fighting some strong undead in the area of the grave.
If you need anything that I can help you with feel free to ask and I will do what I can to help. I have a bit of coin if you need any

  Master Smithson-
I would like to thank you for having enough faith in my skills to hire me as a guard. It is with a heavy heart though that I must tell you that I am not returning to Krandor with the caravan. I feel that my skills are of better use here in Hlint. However if you have any goods that have to be delivered and the guards that I have wored with and helped ot make better are not able to do the job feel free to call on me. I will do all I can to help you. AS I said I thank you for the opprotunity that you gave me and while I feel that I must stay in Hlint I will still answer your call.
I do have a question for you master Smithson. There is a grave in the Broken Forest and I am curious. To whom does that grave belong? Is the person that the grave belongs to responsible for the number and strength of the undead in the Broken Forest? Yes I know that was actually two questions. I will await your answer if you know anything.
  Best Regards

Journal Entry 2[/b]
I have met some people that I call friends. They are  at the very least traveling companions and explorers that I have traveled with and have had some fine adventures with. The 2 that I have traveled with the most are Goldwin Blacknight and Ilwe. There have been others but these 2 come to mind most often.
We have traveled from Hlint to Fort Hope and beyond. Ilwe and I even traveled as far as Point harbor and other places with 3 or 4 others. Goldwin is a tailor and we travel to a place near Fort Velensk where there is a small family of cougars. There are also beasts known as Harpies not far from the cougars as well. We have traveled north from there to an eerie forest crawling with strong undead. I believe it is called the Dire Wood and if it is the name is fitting..
I enjoy their companion ship and look forward to traveling with them in the future.

I have been traveling the areas around Hlint and have met a few people and there are 2 that I call friend. They are Ilwe and Goldwin. We have traveled far and wide toward fort Velensk and beyond. We have traveled to the North of Hlint as well. I have recently help the Militia of the town of Haven to restock there weapons locker.
I still have not heard anything from you about the grave in the Broken Forest. Any news or information about it?

  Master Smithson-
I am well and enjoying the life that I live around Hlint. I am doing much good or so I hope. I am still waitig to hear from you with any information about the grave in the Broken Forest. I have looked at it a few times and there is no indications as to who it is at all. Do you know anything about it? Please tell me if you do.
