Post by: lonnarin on February 28, 2005, 01:30:00 AM
Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteres are at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a tatol mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe.

saw this on a page, and you know... it's right.  Reading it fast and you hardly notice the difference,  which means assumption dominates much of perception.

Had no problem reading it, except the subject, which i had no idea what it meant untill I looked at it knowing the method in which it was scrambled.

But then when the words got back to normal at the end my eyes let out a sigh of relief.

Thats the the same as the old test to see how perceptive you are in things....

(Did you catch the 2 'the' in the above sentence? A lot of peoples minds automatically omit it without them even thinking)
