Title: House placeables
Post by: Variable on May 01, 2005, 07:56:00 PM
I've been placing items in my house and these are a few new ideas i thought would be neat:

A placeable water keg that works the same as the ones in towns

An oven that works like a campfire so you can cook raw meat in it

A placable to refill canteens would be nice.

A stove would be too... but in the past that hasn't been done because it will just lead to people wanting CNR work stations in their houses.

Okay i think i've got an idea that has not been said before this time.

I was cleaning out my chest and this came to me as i walked encumbered to the nearest trashcan (i was carrying a lot of junk ;) )

-Could there be placeable trashcans for houses? just like the ones in town.

good idea.

But while on the subject of trashcans...

Is there a way to make them work so that the items put in are not tagged for deletion untill the lid is closed?  I keep fearing that I'm going to accidentally drag the wrong thing in (like my bow or something.)  I tested this the other day, I put something in, pulled it back into my inventory, and it worked like the shield on the ground problem.  The item was in my inventory but i couldnt move it and after my next transition it was gone.  i believe this is the same for both varieties of trashcans (smoking and non-smoking.)
