I am just curious how this situation came to be if anyone knows. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that two basically good deities would be as strong enemies as Corath and Toran. Any information would be apreciated. I can meet someone in game to get the info if you want.
-
It likely has to do with their differing approaches, even if they have similar goals.
-
But could that make them enemies? I could understand unfriendly but Lucinda is Enemy with both Corath and Toran. I would think there would be some measure of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". There must have been some seriuos conflict to produce this situation.

Hell hath no fury...
-
Is that it? I have to know now. Who is the keeper of the deity relations maybe I could meet them or PM them.
-
No that's not it. Leanthar or Ed will let you and everyone else know in this thread unless there is a reason it's secret or unknown.
-
Ok I can't wait.

Chanda knows a bit about the relations between Corath and Lucinda. Whether its gospel or not ... she still knows some tales about their "relationship". And it could be that relationship that sparked the hatred.
Based on ingame events I would think that the relationship between Lucinda and Corath would be closer to unfriendly and not a hatred. There currently is a working relationship in the united front against Blood.

Celgar found out with a help of a few GM ran quests and his own non stop thinking mind. Not gonna talk...:)

I disagree.
You actually think the gods overly care about Blood? He is a "mortal" to them...and yes they do care but only to an extent that he does not destroy the entire world etc.
They have other worries going on, far more than you know... and they also have old gods trying to come back and new mortals trying to become gods.
Now with that said the deities do realize that Blood will cause them to get weaker (due to killing off of worshipers) but for that matter many of them are using it to their benefits. He is but a pawn to them--at this time at least.
I am not sure why I am explaining this...I guess because I don't want another heated debate.

So without the debate is there any information I can get about why Lucinda and Toran are enemies? That's really my question. I am willing to find the right people in game just wanted a hint or something to get me started. Thanks.

That working relationship was made between followers, not between the gods themselves. A slight, but significant, difference. :)

Maybe it's a thing known only to the highest ranking members of the church... :) Or maybe Lucinda doesn't even want her followers to know why, just that the enmity is the case.
