The time has come that I can no longer fullfill my GM duties.
RL has me too busy and as you all have heard a thousand times RL comes 1st. Between my girls getting out of school for the summer, two vacations planned and hosting some shooting events at my local shooting club I will have next to no time to commit to my GM duties. So I am stepping down so that another person can take the position and give the players in this world what they want... MORE QUESTS! :)
I wanted to take a minute to thank each and every player that has been on one of my quests... I am / was an improv GM, most of what I did was done on the fly feeding off you the players. I felt it gave the quest a much more unique feel and made you the players feel more into it. I had some very memorable moments as a GM, ones I will never forget... I hope some of the players I quested feel the same.
To the GM and Content team. Thank you all for giving me a chance to GM and do content for Layonara. Things like making new maps (Realm Eternal), to making new food and drink recipies. I truly enjoyed doing those sorts of things.
I hope to continue playing, mostly in my 9pm to 2am CST time slot... but even that isnt going to be as regular as it once was.
Layonara is an awesome world and I hope to always be a part of it. I am truly gratefull for all I have experienced here.
Much respect.

Take care man. Being a good father is probably the most important thing you can do, and it's good to hear you've got your priorities straight!

When it rains, it poars.
Recently back from a family vacation to South Dakota, specefically Western South Dakota and the Black Hills region.
and now....
We are starting the process to move to Western South Dakota.
My wife is a Pharmacist, and she has many hoops she must jump thru to transfer her licence to practice pharmacy in another state.
We are going to spending the rest of our free time (as if we had any) prepareing our current home to be sold.
Looking for a new home in South Dakota.
Looking for work in South Dakota
Just to name some of the larger things....
At any rate I don't see the time I can get into Layonara getting any larger in the near future.
I did manage to log in early Tuesday a.m.
I had a few nice chats thru tells with some friends, and had some nice talks in character as well.
Anyway, that is what is going on with me and my life.
I will see you all when I can.

It was Luna's great pleasure to have met you last night. :)
Good luck on moving, etc. I know it's rough, but hopefully the opportunities are better.
Hope to see you in game again sometime!
-
Hope you do alright, knowing you, you probably will do well. Goodluck on finding a job and a new home. It is sad to see you step down since you did good quests, but everyone can't do everything all the time.
-
Good luck on the move G. I really hate moving! :)
See you when you can get back online.
-
Good luck with your decisions

One door closes, another opens. Hope you like the view and as long as you can plug the computer in well Layo will be there.
-
Well, if it's any consolation we'll be neighbors, kinda... not that Montana isn't 650+ miles across... but if you're ever going to Seattle or something let me know, we're about halfway here in Missoula.

Aye! That was the first time Lonnarin and Enzo met in game; helping those 2 dwarves was a blast. Goblin heads rolled, catnip was had by Shadow kitty, and animal hunting drow were sneered at, so fun! I can't wait until your schedule clears up again, you're very fun to RP with. All the luck, ranger bud.

I'll miss you dearly Andy. Shoot, I miss you already. You were the first true friend I ever made online. I know we'll continue to be friends, regardless of the time and space which may separate us. I just hope to see you every once in a while. Things wont be the same without you.
Respect to you always old friend.

Have fun G! Good Luck!

G, you were one of the first people I met on Layo and when I think of the word 'Ranger' I think of Enzo. Truly you are an awsome player and a great GM! Now I'm getting all nostalgic and remebering the great times I had here before. It looks like you will be busy for sure, have fun!

I dont think I had the priviledge to meet you.
But Enzo's bow shop impressed me. Well thought out. It inspired me in my wood crafting and seeing your name top of the list also continually motivates me to improve my own skills. Perhaps one day you can show me some of the finer arts of wood crafting.
//Good luck with the move and all the other things happening.

Sheese another month gone.... :(
Heading back to South Dakota for a few days to look at homes and the is wife checking out local Pharmacies, and applying for work at the ones she shows interest in.
We are sort of at hurry up and wait stage. We are still preparing out house to sell, but untill we find out where my wife get s job we dont know where to look for a new home...
I just hope all this stuff falls into place.
Still thinkin' of Layo everyday.
I miss this place.
Peace

Well, G, Andy, Mr. 452, or whatever I may have the pleasure of calling you, I hope you come back soon.
I know it was only two very small things .... but Andraia selling Quin an iron longsword (now named after her) and Enzo making Quin an oak shortbow for Kit (the spark that sent Quin into a wood-crafting frenzy) but these two little acts really influenced me alot.
Thanks for being here.
-
Good to hear from you again, hope it all comes together soon.
-
Thanks for checking in Guardian! It's always great to hear from you. Hope to hear from you again soon.

I have just done the relocation thing myself, so I know how crazy it can be. Keep in touch. I'm still hoping that Cole will meet Enzo someday. And Cole still has 'Discipline,' of course :) . I'll be keeping an eye out for ya.
