Milo's graduation post got me wondering. Am I one of the oldest players on Layonara? So I thought I would find out. If you wish to partake, please select the age group that applies to you.
-
It's a nice poll but my age doesn't exist. You have a hole right in the middle.
*No worries, I added it.* :)
-
D'oh!
Thanks for catching my error, VGN.
-

1983 Commodore 64 game like Space Invaders.
-
Yeah an arcade game before that.
-
hehe.
GORF RULES!
My first experience with Gorf was on my Vic20... it was one of the first cartridge games I got for the machine. My Mom, brother, cousins and I used to play it all the time... *wipes a tear from his eye* ahhh those were the days... when games didn't require more than one button and a joystick...
Still...
I like Layonara better :)

A friend of mine had a tennis game, a console the size of a laptop, paddle wheels and monotone sound..Beep beep bop bop.
Hey those were the days..

I still play my C64 games with MAME. M.U.L.E. is still one of my all time favorites.

I still have an Intellevision 2. In working order I might add. Saved up for FOREVER to get an Intellevision, and the day I went to get it they released Intellevision 2. Bought that sapsucker in a heartbeat. Loved playing Pitfall on that baby...that was a real game system guys...raise your hand if you remember Intellevision and/or Pitfall...

*Raises hand*

My favorite intellivision game was Wargames... I wasted an entire summer once when I was about 10 playing that... *sigh*

Does anyone remember what is at the end of the Dungeons and Dragon game on Intellivision? My brother and I fought our way all the way down to the bottom with those blocky little dudes only to find a big pyramid-type structure with a cheesy dragon perpetually breathing enough flames to maybe light a cigarette and-----the Designer's Initials on the structure! We were so P.O.'d by that for weeks afterward! I felt like Ralphie on "A Christmas Story" with his Little Orphan Annie decoder ring and the disappointing ad it translated.

I never played D&D on Intellevision. My favorite on there was Pitfall. I loved how the guy had two positions. The running one and the jumping one. There were no other positions to be seen. That was back in the day...*sigh*
