Title: mandolin properties

I made a hickory mandolin and the properties list it as giving 3 Bonus Spell Slot: Bard Level 0.

It doesnt seem to give me bonus spells though.  Am I reading this wrong?

3 level 0 spells per day, once you rest while holding it, and continue to have it equiped.  I believe.

Yep. 
  You need to sleep with your instruments, and not let them leave your hands. As soon as you put them away, like to take out your sword... you lose the extras.
