I accept my darkness
For I find it hard to make fire
It's time for me to rest
For I am very tired
As I lay in the cool, moist grass
Lights far beyond this lively realm shine bold
I invite myself into the past
Making me presently old
Young though I once was
And old I fair now
Oh! How I danced in between!
And shined so brightly that I burned out
Now I lay and sleep takes hold
I'll whisper one thing more
I'll still journey forth and never stop
Through many more days and countless doors
