I'm in the poetry unit for english and I wrote this.
Ode to the stab wound
He went outside, To smite the beast. He was outeyed, He struck the beast.
The beast recoiled, And then said, "Why do I recoil, To one who will be dead!"
He lounged at the man. The man did a parry, He said to himself, "I can, I can!" He wanted to be merry!
The fight went on, Forward and back. The moon shone, and he was wacked.
He cringed with pain, but...he had no shame!
