Greater Santuary, before this last update, I could stand next to a troll Shaman and it would not see me.
With new update, troll Shamans see me every time, even at a distance ....
and yes spell is active ...

There indeed seems to be a bug with Greater Sanctuary after we edited it. Now anything that can see trough invisibility can see trough Greater Sanctuary too.

That's why I never cast invisibility and Greater Sanctuary on myself at the same time ... would it be possible to have a DM Dissappear come with the casting of the spell?

This is still an issue.
I'd suggest just removing the invis that was added.
The rp value of PCs not being able to see you isn't worth sacrificing the functionality of the spell imo.

I often use GS to avoid people, if I am in a hurry, or sneak about, but still I would prefer the old spell back. The benefit of invisibility is simply not worth the price in safety.
One suggestion I have is to let all clerics be able to cast invisibility as a 6th level spell. Then if you wanted to use GS for RP purposes you could cast invisibility instead, but if you needed GS for its main purpose you would cast GS.

Nah, can't give all clerics invisibility. Just a bad idea.
It really isn't just a lesser version of GS, but a completely different spell. You can cast while invis, you can cast it on others and so on.
But yeah, might be a good idea to remove the invis from GS. Unless of course we want to make GS just kind of an weaker self invis for clerics and then TS would see through everything. But that would mean we'd have to give something to the mages who took it. Don't think it's a good idea anyway, just an idea... heh.

Bumping this thread. As it is now, GS is pretty useless. A lvl 2 invis spell is far better than a lvl 8 GS spell...that just seems wrong. Could you just revert it to its old use, and remove that invis thing?

Alternatively make two spells - the standard GS and the current GS (could call GS RP). Make them the same level (and same spell for intents apart from the NWN engine) and we can use the current form for RP purposes.

I agree with both Blonde and Wintersheart. It would be nice to have the standard Gsanc back, i've died several times from forgetting that it was not working as intending
