Title: Warning! Milara's Return
Post by: teefal on July 13, 2005, 08:07:00 AM
*teefal tacks a large note on the wall*

A warning to all people of Hlint.  Last night while in the Siewold Forest with a small group hunting ogres, the Lady of the Land appeared to warn us that Milara has returned to Mistone. She urged us to warn Rhizome at once.  Soon after in Hlint, we joined a small group discussing the recent blackness that had enveloped the night, causing so much worry and fear.  Hearing our news, we all decided to go find Rhizome.  After consulting with a druid in the High Forest, we found Rhizome and learned from another group that the Lady had appeared to them as well in Rilara, raising our concern even more.  We discussed this disturbing development at length, deciding to learn more before acting.

Please post here any rumors or sightings related to these recent events.

*takes notice of the note, and tacks one below it, in his typical cramped writing style*

Aye, I was with the Rilara party when this occured. We were ambushed by a horde of giants (one of which was of the noble, fire kin, bearing a huge, flaming sword). Two of our party fell, but they were later resurrected by this "Lady of the Land". The party members that survived were forced to jump the ravine, on the other side of which was safety. And there we waited until our two fallen members arose, and detailed to us what occured.
We made it to Fort Himlad, when we noticed the darkness upon the sky, and decided it was time we make for Mistone. I stayed overnight in Point Harbor, so this Sielwood business is news to me.

Rhizone,

A songbird flies around your head and lands on your shoulder. Attached to it is a small note which says the following:

Master Rhizone,

You had asked about my vision. One night I had a dream in which the Queen of the T'oleflor appeared to me and showed me two visions. One was of the Broken Forest reduced to a cinder and its inhabitants slain. The second vision was of Sinthar Bloodstone. I believe that the vision is a warning of impending danger to the Forest from Bloodstone. Perhaps it relates to the current events or to this 'dark' T'oleflor that you mentioned and whom I would like to learn more about. It would strike me as odd if the Queen were to appear in a vision over the generalized threat that Bloodstone presents to all of Layonara. The problems of late in regards to those with the ability to shift forms could also be related to this. There are many questions and few answers.
