he's the directer of House of the Dead, and Alone in the dark, and the upcomming Bloodrayne movie, and just signed Ray Liota to star as the lead bad guy in his movie Dungeon Siege
i'm convinced he's out to destroy both movies and video games here people, he must be stoped
serriously his 2 movies so far released are on the 100 worst movies ever made list......how the heck does he get a cast like this for Dungeon siege?
Ray Liota, Jason Statham, John Rhys-davies, Matthew Lillar, Burt Renolds, Ron Perlman, and Kristinna Loken, and thats only a starter......i swear this guy has sold his soul to the devil, it's the only thing that makes sense......

Burt Reynolds? I hope he is one of the bad guys or something, and uses a mask... oh, and if possible, reduce his speeches significantly...
Now, Kristianna Loken is a very interesting actress, if you get my point. ;)

Yeah, unless they make her a "bard" with a lot of Charisma. So monsters and male audiences alike drool over her? COME ON.

I just watched the Bloodrayne trailers... I have to go claw my eyes out now...

I have no idea what any of you are talking about, but if they make a Baldur's Gate movie, it darn well better be good!

Well, Vyris, I just checked a couple of sites, because I didn't know who she was either, for Kristianna Loken. Maybe it is the camera or something, but she is a very nice looking girl.
So with that said, you're crazy...or married.

opening scene You see the hobbits from LOTR and then L him self rides over them with with a horse. He then tell the audance about the history of Layo and poof Camrea pans out and you see Hlint under seage with Ozy Flitting on the women.

Umm role players(actors) role playing a role playing game. Err adventure... Ermm this is gonna suck. WHy don't they just make a fantasy movie period and leave RP out of it?

They were dumb video games and they're going to make movies that are SO bad, they're good.

Well considering that the "good characters" will keep rolling natural 20s 90% of the time. And bad characters will be strong, yet dumb enough to hurt anyone directly. By bother imitating a game?

Well now, let's not jump to hastey conclusions... I've been following John Rhys-Davies' work. He is well enough to save the movie on his own, should he get something close to a lead role.
Now, about Layonara the movie and riding over Hobbits... *giggles* Maybe it's the pepsi, but that's just good classic funny.
I figure it would go like this: Hlint would be the first shot. Drow, walking around, milling about, talking. Dwarves would come, look at them, laugh and chat a while.
Peasants, unfeering, would rejoice at the return of the mighty drow population of their city.
Then an ancient red dragon would land in Hlint. People would look at it, then go back to whatever they were doing.
The plot to the movie would fail; I daresay I could ask a new player about Blood and get the response: "Sinthar Bloodstone? Huh?"... even someone who's been around for a month.
And thus the movie would be all about Leanthar riding around, squishing halflings and hobbits. For almost two hours.
"Mr. Frodo! Mr. Frodo! *splort*"
