Title: Lumberjack underachiever *smacks forehead*
Post by: lonnarin on July 22, 2005, 04:58:00 PM
Lonnarin has been cutting wood for some time now, finally at the point where he can make oak bows.  Being a wood elf ranger, he felt it somewhat beneath him to buy his primary trade weapon upgrades from silly humans, so he's been plowing right into it, making big stacks of sandpaper, strings, staves, what have you.  Well, when he leveled last night, I got really excited that he'd finally get power attack as a feat to help him put his back into it.

Now at level 9, I finally realized I'd already taken it at lvl 6, hehehehe.  I laughed so hard when I saw that on the chart, thinking, "Yeah, Lonn's a bit crazy.  He was probably arguing with a squirrel or something when he should have been listening up to his instructors in ranger school."  No jewelry, regular leather, big crate of fish, the man's too broke to even pay attention... time to sell some longbows! :)

Ah well, at least he never forgot his eternal rage towards demons and zombies!

Not to mention that I saw you milking your oxen yesterday!  And yes it was in emote.

Dont feel too bad, for months I was playing a mage character, and had teken the eschew feat for 1-3rd level spells when I leveled. It was about 5 am and I had been marathon gaming for about 22 hours, I was wiped.
I completely forgot about the feat, and spent the next 3 weeks still going around collecting gum arabic and all the other commonly used spell componants, soon I was encumbered, and I felt really stupid after complaining about not being able to pick anything up anymore when a GM came and told asked me if I was aware that I was carrying 45 pounds of bat guano..No wonder people tended to end conversations with me quickly...

*Ties into the other thread*

Oooohhhhhh...
Lonn's a Lumberjack
And he's OK
He sleeps all night
And he works all day.

He cuts down trees
He eats his lunch
He goes to the lavat'ry

*walks off humming*

Heheh, yes, only 8 more milk bottles to deliver and his community service is paid off to the Queen for pie-napping her pantry.  Was getting desperate for product and the cows had had enough draining for a week.  Wish we had goats... :)  And on the subject of Guano, Bjorn once filled a box full of it, ENTIRELY full (40 lbs or  more) and handed it to Xenos when he thought it was gems to practice with.  The biggest letdown of the century. ;)
