Post by: medahniahn on July 25, 2005, 11:27:00 PM
Hi - is there a way to make a larger custom text macro?  there seems to be a limit of about 40 characters - i wanted to have some cool sayings, llines from movies, etc.  thanks....

Yeah they are too short. I always wanted to say May the prince of wolves guide you

and on this same subject: is there a a way to use a key to begin a consveration. Like hit shift f2 and the "/dm [ " comes up in your bar and then I can type my message. Probally not but I have seen things Orth and the others do that I would never have imagined possible.

before you run NWN type "/dm [" into notepad or whatever, then just paste it into the bar while you're playing.

Is there a way to bring up notepad and still keep the game on the screen?  I've tried pasting from MS Word.  It works, but after a couple of times flipping back and forth, the game freezes.

For Notepad, unless I don't get your question:
Just run Notepad and minimize it before you run NWN.  When you want to get at it, either hit Alt+Tab to go from NWN to Notepad and vice-versa or Alt-Entr to put NWN in windowed mode, that way you'll see your desktop ;)
I have Notepad open most of the time I play..bleeming price list *grumbles*....and it never caused me a crash.

"Alt-Enter" - that's what I needed.  Thanks
