Title: NWN and and Concealment
Post by: steverimmer on July 29, 2005, 12:15:00 PM
The thread 'NWN and Spell Protection' has prompted me to ask how NWN deals with concealment.  Basically if Bilvikki was level 16 and casts the following spells what would his Concealment values be?

1.  Ghostly Visage 5/+1 DR and 10% concealment (cast for the DR)
2.  Shadow Shield 50% concealment (cast for the death magic immunity)
3.  Premonition 75% concealment (I think thats the right value but I'm not too sure but cast for Concealment anyway)

So three spells all with concealment....I've assumed that it was the value of the last spell which counted so in this case premonition, but I just wondered if anyone knows for sure?

True Seeing doesnt work on concealment.
I use true sight with Vigg and whenever some giant has Improved Invisibility (30% concealment) I still get affected by the concealment.

Just highest counts. They don't stack.

IDii's right. You'd have a theoretical 75% concealment.

Ahh good so spell order is not important then?  The highest number is the one that counts...sounds good to me :)

Er.. might be dumb question seeing as I've used it a few times.
But was does concealment do?  .. make you harder to hit, spot or both?
