Next time a GM is in-game, and Quin is around, I would appreciateif I could purchase a holdable book and a flag of Toran.

  I'm partial to thinking the books are fair game for anyone. I've personally handed out a couple to well RPed characters that had good reasons for wanting them. As for Flags, I'm not sure. I'd like to think those would be reserved for clerics, paladins, and Flag Bearers that were designated by their church. That's just me though... L? Pan?

How about requiring a CDQ to earn the right to bear the standard of your God?

It would be an opportunity to prove to the Clergy that you actually adhere to the teaching of your faith and could represent them accurately.
