Title: Consecrate Holy Symbol

Okay well here is my questions, and I know it will sound really basic but when you are talking about a Owl Wisdom 2 amulet and 2000 xp to use the spell of Consecrate Holy Symbol, you would be leery too.  Just to ensure I understand the spell and how it functions, If I use this spell on any amulet it will consecrate it as a holy symbol and will retain the original powers of the amulet, right?
