The message seems to be writen with squished blackberries on the back of a temple of toran daily service parchment. It reads:
"Giants stuck, sends help getsin hungry"

A team of 30 soldiers hoist a strangled half-giant who for a time now has been seen overlooking Blackford. The culprit, a 3000 pound oversized griffon has been captured and is now being used for rescuing small cats on top of trees.
