Title: exceptional leathers.

can all things in the leather trade be exceptional? i know gloves can, how about boots, bags, belts cloaks etc. what about leather amours?

Belts can be exceptional. I saw a pic of an exceptional belt of cunning.

No exc armor. There's no metal armor either.

In fact weaponcrafting and armorcrafting have no exc things...

Pretty sure it's just some tailoring stuff, jewelry and... yep that's it.

I can confirm exceptional belts of cunning.  Esimond has been lucky in that vein and has made 3 so far.   :)

Definitely makes him popular with his friends.

There are exceptional boots, too. I know somebody with exceptional boots of the boar and cougar.
