Title: Leather bags and cloaks=totally useless?
Post by: Shotgunbunny on September 10, 2005, 03:43:00 PM
Okay, Duran is beginning to learn the secret's of tailoring, and has been crafting but has, untill now, been tailoring simply to get some experience in it, i decided to try and make some real stuff lately however, and the first thing i thought would be cool was a cloak, seeing as i had more then enough hides i just bought the quite expensive ingredients and after a few failures, managed to make a cloak, but i was somehow surprised but at the same time i wasn't, it didn't have any use, it was just a plain item worth only 1gp at the pawn shop.

It was even worse when i decided to make some leather bags, since i had a bunch of dyes and such filling up my first inventory panel, but when i crafted it, i, first of all, got three bags instead of one, perhaps this was meant to compensate their utter uselessness? Since i can't put anything in the bags, which i expected.

So, actually all i've done if waste my time, throwing away money, just to end up with a bunch of useless and worthless items?

leather bags are components for alchemy and some tailoring things.

You can put an elemental resistance on a blank cloak.

You've learned a little more aboout the CNR
system and you gained xp in Tailoring. I
wouldn't call that a complete waste of time.

And don't expect too much from the easiest
items you can make.
