4 days till its been a year since I joined this family. (10/15/2004 is the date i submitted Celgar). Over this year I have seen it grow and flourish into some thing compleatly new. I say it's a family because you cant take one step with out Meeting some one you know in Hlint and asking them in OOC how is the wife and kids :) . The good old days were a blast and I am looking forward to another year to see what turns out.
SO cheers to all of you and Let keep layonara rolling!

Cel, its great that youve been here so long and I am truley glad you enjoy it... but its 9/11 so youve still a month to go before its only 4 days.
-
do you mean 9/15/05? 10/15 isn't for another month?
-
LOL Man.... Sorry I had a brain fart...
-
it's 10/15.....
-
Hehe .... 10/9 for me.
The old days were a blast ... XP loss on death, atleast 2 crashes a day.... getting stuck in the forest of summons ...
....
But REALLY! The old days WERE fun!
If nothing else no darned whipper-snappers with their confangled card games running around. Were two oak trees in the broken forest at one point. Hey! Remember when we didn't need sawdust and bowstrings were buyable? Those were the days ...
Oh! And when soulstones cost several thousand gold a pop ....
And when invisibility potions were in shops!
And when Tath and Celgar and Sand were lower level than me!
Hehe ... well ... I like that last one atleast ...
-
*sighs* Yes, the good ole days. And I STILL remember the day that Quin took Sand and a whole bunch of people to the Broken Forest to Quote: "Clense the forest of the nasty undead" :) Yes, the good ole days.

Still got about 2 months to go until i can have my first year Layo anniversary, hehe. ;)
-
yeah, accually this month sometime it will be 3 years for me, cant really beleive it I've been here awhile. Probably the only one whos been here this long and has never been part of the GM team yet, if only I had the time.
-
I've been here since Feb, and now I have a question.... approximately how many game years are there in a RL year? that way we can kind of figure out how much older our characters have grown...
-
Sin'Dolin was a year on the 9th of september I think.
lam'lothane Im not really sure of since he's from V1.
-
Hmm... well I've been around since about ... oh.. december I think... I'm still relativly unknown in-game I think. I doubt anyone could miss me in the forum... (know I don't... sheesh.. I never seem to shut up)
I love this place and can't wait to see what happens next
-
Yeah, I remember the good ol' days. Of. Uhh. July '05. Yeah. Way back in the day. *shifty*
-
I think Lia would be to mean as a GM LOL. ;)
-
@ miltonyorkcastle - technically 7 years, and this works for most long timespans, but doesn't neccessarily translate for short timespans. Like, if you're on a quest, and theres a follow up the next week, it doesn't neccissarily mean that a whole 7 weeks have passed since the last quest. Overall quest time is flexible, time passes slower when you're sitting around town RPing (Sometimes it doesn't make sense for you to have just sat there talking for an entire 24 hours IG.) and time passes faster when youre traveling - Cant really get from hlint to pranzis in a couple hours IG, and time travels at whatever speed you need it to when you're not logged on :P
Basically, it behaves as described in Einstein's theory of fictional relativity. In otherwords, it moves at the speed of plot.
