For all you crazy adventurer lads & lasses that just aren't satisfied with the healer's new healing kits...I've got the old kits that could be used during battle. Though they can go fast, they will save your life. I've got 20 of them for sale. Whoever offers the most gets them.

Hmmm.....25,000 gold for 20 old style heal kits. That's 1250 each. Even assuming they are +9 kits, and you have 30 points in heal skill, these kits will heal roughly 60 hit points, at a maximum, IF used out of combat.
Now, heal potions (target) I believe cure 70 hit points, and can be used during combat. Non-target potions heal far more than that. Not sure what going rate is, but don't think it's more than this by much, if it is. *shrugs*
-
// Heal kits do not provoke Attacks of Opportuniy, while non-target heal potions do. That's something to bear in mind aswell. ;)
-
*Dougan walks up and sees Aleister marking down 25,000*
Sold ter the balding twitching feller.
-
//the kits can heal invisible targets as well. Without you having
see invis or the like. Old kits are much to prefer over the potions.
Oh yeah, they also work like thief skills "take 20".
You add a d20 + skill modifier in combat and in non-combat you add 20 +
skill modifier. Of course, you also add the kits own modifier at all times.

((you know i was under the impression that these were not supposed to be in the game and any that were found were to be trashed))
-
// if that would be supposed to work that way, then what should we do to the older version armors? The healkits are spendable, anyway...
-
//I keep mine as keepsakes of an older time, along with my old iron plate that I spend days digging sand for Kobal for.
-
No, they can be in the game but they just are not being made/sold any more so when they are all used up then they are gone.... at least to the best of my knowledge.................
