I've been playing Zeos for afew weeks now, and i've started to find myself saying every i type out on screen. This gets really annoying when i've got visiters round. They think i'm alittle loopy when i start saying things like 'Bah! say that again and i'll hit you so hard with my staff you'll wish your pa was still hitting you' to my computer. Anyone else had this problem or is it just me? maybe i'm getting into my character a little too much....

Nope.
You're probably just insane. It's ok though, most of us are in some way.

He beat me to it. *points and snickers*

Not me, I dont got time to go insane. But sometimes when I'm looking for something in the house and cant find it I start to think "Where is Google when you need it?"
-
Usually when I read books something similiar happens to me. Like when I was reading the Drizzt series, whenever I turned a light on in the house I flenched and turned it back off suddenly, thinking it was going to burn my eyes :P
-
The game gets to us all eventually.
I sometimes wonder if stoneskin would stop a Chevy.

Talk to myself? I don't talk to myself. No, no I don't. Do I? Of course not ... no ... no talking to myself. No ... no ...
*cough*
umm ... right ... *shrugs*
I wonder how long a spell of silence would work on annoying people. *nods*

Not long enough.
-
Yes... take me for example... I'm immune to that spell :D
-
Yeah this has happened to me many times....the first time I talked like Bilvikki to my wife she thought I was loopy but now she just knows I am and has learned to live with it :)
-
What makes it worse is that Zeos doesn't usually say anything nice, so it looks even weirder when I start mouthing off at my computer, and my mate (some may know him and hate him all the same, hehe, you'll know him as Teax (i know Aleister isn't keen on him)) called me a grumpy fool while at college the other day. Now he continuely calls me Zeos. This is making my insanity worse *begins to chew on his elbow* (yes is know, its not possible, or is it?)
-
mmhmm....happens to me too..hahaha.
And I like talking like Bilvikki, Steve. And also Vin, vgn. :D Then there's Key. She's a hoot. Tell someone to pike off in real life. It's great!
*looks around for medication and wonders* Did I take this today?
*wanders off muttering to no one in particular*
-
Heh heh took me 3 days too stop talking english like Path while in Holland...people kept wondering what country or planet I was from :p
-
talking Bilvikki to your wife, eh? *snickers* mine likes it when I talk like Bruenor... errr, maybe it's the other way around, I like it when she talks like Bruenor O.O .... "GET DER BLOO'Y BAS'ARDS!!!" ......
-
Hehe, well I play Scherzo as if he had very similar personality traits as me, just far more educated and refined, and far more tactful, so I often find myself just "translating" my own comments into what Scherzo would say.
Large Ogre - "I tink dat tief went in der"
Me - "*Rolls eyes* Of course he did you friggin Scholar, now let's go get him!"
Scherzo translation - "*Nods and mutters something under his breath* I agree, perhaps we should persue."
-
haha, so it seem it isn't just me then. You really get caught up in the moment when role playing on Layonara. *winks*

I have, on several occasions, dropped a Brue bomb, at school and such. "You'd best be watchin' yer step around me fool!" My favorite, of course, is "As it should be!"
But, in keeping with the topic, everyone is insane. Christ, Gautama, Churchill, me, you. That reminds me of that little tune off of "Team America: World Police": Everyone has AIDS! AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS AIDS!". See, case in point. Sheer friggin' insanity. I believe when one spends even 4 hours a week playing Neverwinter Nights, especially Layonara, insanity is no longer an option, it's the norm.
