Title: Saving Throws
Post by: Crunch on October 01, 2005, 10:46:00 AM
When I cast Phantasmal Killer at something, what determines the DR of the saving throw?  I suspect that it is my level + my intelligence modifier and that spellcraft doesn't enter into the equation unless the target has a bonus to his save from spellcraft.  Can someone confirm how this works?  I couldn't find anything in the manual which addresses this.  Thanks

Let's see...It is your intelligence bonus, + any other DC from feats...For example if you had an Illusion focus - the DC is increased.
But, I think the base is 20, then Int bonus is added then feat DC - BUT I'm not sure...

Caster level + Intelligence Modifier + Spell level + Spell Focus/Greater Spell Focus/Epic Spell Focus = DC

I believe this is the correct formula, though i'm not used to playing offensive casters. :)

no no no, you all have it slightly off.

10+Spell level+int/cha/wis modifier(if your a wiz/sorc/bard/cleric)+any applicable feats
