Title: Related Ox Question - Re: Stables
Post by: Talan Va'lash on October 09, 2005, 08:51:00 AM
I never unstabled my ox on east when the new ox system was put in like... 4 months ago and I'm not sure if I did on central either.

I get the "your ox has been stabled and will not appear beside you blah blah" when I log into east.  I dont remember getting this on central though.

It probably doesn't matter, because I can't recall ever using my ox anywhere but west, or ever really wanting to.

But, in the hypothetical situation where I bring my ox to east (or central) is something really bad going to happen?

Oh, and this is Talan's ox I'm refering to.

Talan,
The database shows your ox is tied in the Hlint public craft house.  Could you check into this sometime and let me know if it is there or not?

Yeah, its there and has been functioning correctly ever since the system was put in.

I haven't brought my ox to east or central, because I haven't needed to, and I'm guessing its going to cause a problem if I do.  I also haven't tried to unstable my ox on east (not sure if the stable boy's even there anymore) because I was guessing that would screw stuff up too.

So yeah, its fine as long as I keep it on west, as for what would happen if I tried to do any of the stuff listed above.... no idea, didn't want to potentially cause a problem since I hadn't had a need anyway.
