Is there anyway I could make my own quest its only a little one but could I and if yes where do I post it :)
-
Not sure what you exactly mean?
A quest that is given out by an NPC?
-
I want to get a group of people together to go to the Fen caves to slay the Black Dragon but I want it as a quest so what do I do?????
-
You can organize players on your own and go wherever you wish to go.
Though...just a bit of friendly advice...you may want to rethink the goal of slaying a dragon....or...attempting to slay a dragon.
-
*laughs* slaying a dragon....I hope you have some very good fighters
-
Its a laugh get to meet new people, explore layonara and have fun thats all we're doing.
-
Might want to read-up on the history of Layo...a few of us went a talking to the different dragons so we could get them to join us in the war against Blood...how you think the dragons will react when idiots rush in their home to "try" to kill them?
-
OOOOOOOO I have looked at the history and didn't reliese, but talking about blood when is the next attackon him??
Of there is one.
-
*scratches head* Well nay, usually t'is the other way around...he's got a bad day, out of tea, that time of the month kind of thing and he just comes in Hlint and kills everyone in sight *sighs and shrugs*
-
When was the last time he attacked??
-
Think I remember THAT?!? As soon as Plen raised me, went and got drunk for 5days at thee Inn *shrugs and walks away* ;)
-
Like. I don't know. A month ago or something. Ask around in game, really...
-
Attacking a Dragon is suicide.
Attack badgers or trees.Thats much safer.
Well there is the Loon who wants people punished for chopping trees.
Just avoid him and the world will be peachy.
-
You can get people in game to go on a quest. If time is restricted or whatever you can place a game on the player part of the calendar allowing sign ups.
-
the next attack on Blood? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... the next attack on Blood.... you mean the next time he feels like sneezing in our direction and wiping out an entire city. HAHAHAHAHA.... oh it hurts....
-
You can attack a dragon without a GM quest. The result will most likely be the same.

LOL...find Daren in game, he'll tell you all about dragon slaying, of the construct (or was it undead?) variety. Or Celgar, he can rip them apart with his bear hands. Usually has 2 or 3 Red Dragons along with his morning tea for breakfast.
All sarcasm and attempts at humor aside, a quest is what you make it, not just killing and looting. If you want to explore, find some people around town who look bored, and ask them to take you somewhere or to go with them their next trip out. I remember when Jacchri taking my Jeran under his wing when I first started out. I learned a lot from all the trips we went on together (including the futility of trying to run from a Phase Spider), and more than just simple tactics and the names of places.
-
Yes so even hunting trees can get you hurt......lol but that is Layo and why it is FUN!!!!.....lol
-
Ummm yea... Dragons in Layonara are what Dragons should be. Revered... and Feared. Don't confuse them with any Dragons you might have fought in NWN or perhaps on another server...
I have had the opportunity to be in the presence of a few of the Dragons of Layonara.
I remember vividly the green on Roldem... as we stood shaking in it's presence as it had slayed Ozymandias in a couple of bites and sat tapping a claw on his chest. . .
Then there was the time I stepped off the boat onto Firesteep... and bumped (literally) into an invisible Fisteron.
Fisteron: "FOOL!"
Derrick: "er..."
Munch munch rip into two peices munch munch... bloody black and red stain on the ground. It took several hours for the party to gather what was left into a sack to carry to the temple...
The Shadow Dragons that attacked Hlint. . .
Milara's pet. . .
So my advice is that if you go seeking a dragon... well... just make sure your last will and testiment is up to date.
-
RUN AWAY!!!!
-
Does anyone have any idea if a dragon is going to attack Hlint or not, or are the people in Hlint sitting ducks.
We really need a watch tower to stay watch and a group of stong people to from a front line or something like that has any one eer done anything like that before.
-
While Dragons, Drow, Orcs, Goblins, Mephits... have all attacked Hlint in the past... Blood is the real enemy.
My advice to you... Roleplay... roleplay with the characters you meet and who knows what adventure might unfold.
-
Just one more question.............
Will Bloodstone ever attack Hlint again? :o
-
Gah. He doesn't really stop by to share his battle plans, you know? And being an in game guy, he wouldn't be doing it out of character on the forums, either.
I'm pretty sure he hasn't decided to take up, say, knitting instead, though.

Well if he does, you'll know.
Thing is, Bloodstone is insanely powerful. The first time he attacked, the only character that went up against him and lived was already into epic levels...and then he stopped, having taken little, if any, damage in order to deliver a threat.
Taking on Bloodstone directly is even more foolish than attacking a dragon.
Yes, he's why we're all here, but he won't likely be defeated by a bunch of energetic adventurers swarming him the next time he's in town.
-
I do not plan to attack him I understand that will be foolish, You see Im new to this and Im trying to gather as much information I can before its to late.
-
Then I strongly suggest you try to gather as much information in-game (i.e. not on the forums) regarding Bloodstone, his generals, etc. In other words...do this in-game....RP...Get to know people who know, etc.
Oh, and to avoid the raucous laughter, try not to ask about the next time Blood will be attacking Hlint.
-
heh, its hard for him to RP it in game since i limit him to 3 hours playing time a week, next month, it will be 2 and the month after 1, then none.
He seems to be getting his posts up in the forums at the moment by posting random topics he thinks up during the day.
*sighs* ah well.

I'm glad Blood isn't a woman...

Skarp's wife would make a good Blood.
