I said that when my cable got installed.  I downloaded a 600MB file at 599KB/sec the other day and just laughed.  My wife thought I was going crazy.  Well she knows that already but I digress.  

Of course on the downside lightning has blown up my firewall twice now. :(

Cable Modem completely rocks! If I had to use anything else after having this for the past two years, i'd *refrains from finishing sentence so as not to make those without cable modem feel bad*

In truth, what I was spending on 56k ($19.95/month) was not that bads of a difference to cable modem ($39.95). It is double the price but twenty times better :)
