Having a feat in Improv crit. in Rapier. (Making it 15-20) AND having a spell keen edge, would it stack? I have a feeling it doesn't other wise it would be like a really good sword I would have then.
-
okay,
1) keen edge and impr. crit does stack in NWN.
2) keen edge is supposed to only works on slashing weapons, and the rapier is a piercing weapon, so it won't work on the rapier.
3) Sometimes the rapier is seen as an exception, and while it doesn't work on other piercing weapons, the spell might work on the rapier, depending on how the scripting DM's set it up here on Layo.

Keen Edge does NOT work on the rapier. I tried and it doesnt work :(
-
Keen Edge doesn't work on Rapiers cause it's Keen Edge, not Keen Point, or Keen Super Heavy Magical Addition for a Blunt Weapon... only works on slashing weapons...

Well, if you want to go into details, a Rapier does have an edge.
Even if it's as sharp as any other blade, it's just too thin and
light to make for good slashing.
There are Rapiers with only point too, but the Rapiers you see
Zorro and the Musketeers use, that kind have a slashing edge.
And when they say Keen Edge doesn't work on Rapiers, they
mean here on layo.

Keen edge needs a slashing weapon.
Rapier is not slashing.
-
So, it would work on the scimtar?
Scimtar is slashing, yuppers?
-
yes, it works on scimitars. of course, scimitars don't make use of weapon finesse, so if you don't use strength for your attack bonus, then the scimitar won't be as useful to you.
