not sure if this has been asked before, so I'll ask here:
Can you place an enchantment rod that adds elemental resistance to other items beside armor, such as rings, gloves, helms, etc.? and can you enchant those items without losing any current magical properties on said item? I understand magical reisitances don't stack, and the same with magical damages, but say, if I had a Ring of Bull's I, and I stuck an Enchant Rod of electric resist on it, would it even work, and if it did, would it destroy the current property of +1 strength?

Elemental Damage Rods are appliable only on melee weapons or arrows/bolts, also i'm not sure if they work on Monk gloves.
Elemental Resistances can be applied to any item, adding a resistance against elemental damage, however, they won't remove any other properties of said item, unless they had any other Damage Resistance property on them, in that case, the previous resistance will be replaced with the new one.

soooo, you're saying putting an enchantment rod for elemental resist on a strength ring would work?

That's exactly what he's saying.
Damage Enchantment Rods:
- Will override any other damage enhancer on a weapon (besides natural enhancements)
- Can only be placed on weapons
- Will cause the weapon to eminate a glow or place an effect such as fire upon it
- Will raise the Level Requirement of said Weapon
- Works on Monks Gloves aswell
Damage Resistance Rods:
- Can be placed on any equipable item
- Will cause said item to emit a slight glow
- Will override any other damage resistance on said item (elemental and physical)
- Will raise the Level Requirement of said item

Note: Elemental Enhancements do not override Silver/Titanium Enhancements, and vice-versa.
