Title: Quests/GMed Events for new players?

'Cuse but is there any events scheduled for new players, low level PCs who have just started playing Layonara? If so, where/how do I find them?

Check the Calendar, the scheduled quests there have a level range, which can tell you if it's suitable for new/low lever characters or not. :)
