Title: Port number missing in Server Change Script
Post by: Stephen_Zuckerman on November 30, 2005, 03:44:00 PM
I just had something of a problem with this... When going to another server, you're booted with a scriped message giving you the IP. However, the IP is missing the port number, which prevented me from being able to log in.

That might be a bit of an issue, n'est pas?

(It was all sorted out; Dorgonath gave me the Port#.)

If you don't supply the port it presumes the default 5121 which is what the server runs on.

It shouldn't list the port.  I play on a different port because I'm often somewhere where multiple people are playing at the same time on the same network.

The client port has nothing to do with the server port.

Well, it still never worked for me; Providing it would likely keep this from happening again.

Im pretty darn sure that the port number had nothing to do with this, I've never had to use it when teleporting. somthing else must have been up.
