The war effort needs every bit of help it could get. Rather than dropping items onto the market at those low prices, why not donate to the Mistone Alliance.
Just take a moment and think what you paid for your oak long bow for exampe and then perhaps you will reconsider your prices.

Umm... These are WAY WAY too low of a price, I am pretty sure you know that. Do not sale them for that price please.
If you are indeed 'throwing it all out' then sale them to the pawn shop, not to players at these prices.

How much did the sewing needles cost? How much did the Book of patterns cost? How much did the sewing kit cost?

EDIT You have some things with good prices and some beleive it or not with high prices all stuck in with stuff that is way too cheap. Check out Zero's Pricing guide it can help you put decent prices on your goods and they WILL still sell.

This raises the question of what other characters can do when they see someone severely undercutting their business. We know PvP is a no-no, but are there other RP avenues? For example, maybe a high level crafter has some influence with Queen Allurial and the Alliance, and could call their attention to the giving away of such a vast quantity of goods. With the war collection effort still not meeting all of it's needs, perhaps the Alliance would step in and 'oversee' the clearance of all these items, ensuring the needs of the many are met....
Just one example. I'm sure there are other ways to keep the economy on an even keel using RP and certain influences.

After reading all the previous responses . .I want to apologize greatly for my lack of expertise in this matter. The only guide Ihad to go by was a price listing (Zeros) in the forums and what the price lens gives of which I know can be quite out there at times. So I was kind of left on my own after that. I know. . ignorance is no excuse. I don't want to become a store or a merchant . . . I just wanted to unload the items to make space and make some coin. I'm not really in this for the riches, but enough to get a nice item now and then to improve my characters abilities which are quite lacking. If someone could make up a standard price list that everyone could access, I'm sure it could be quite helpful. The metal armors and weapons were found on corpses and didn't cost me anything .as for the leathers . . .well . . as I stated before. So again I apologize and as soon as Ican find decent prices, those that are interested, please work with me as I try to figure this out. If I have to . .I can always try to auction them off, but I wanted to avoid that as there are many items. If a guild is interested in helping me, they can receive a percentage of whats sold . .just ideas. Thanks for your comments. Without them I may have done much worse. If you have any ideas that could help, feel free to PM me. PLEASE!

I would suggest you work with Guardian 452 on this... He is VERY good at pricing and is usually right on. He also knows the world inside and out and understands the economy.

I just sent Jil a reworked price list (Which I should've done about 2 weeks ago when asked, but RL and Layo dominated all). This is becomming more hassle than it's worth really, and I have the feeling the Mistone Alliance will get most of this stuff in the end.

The Mistone Alliance thing has been great I have donated items I have been sitting on for maybe 6 to 9 months waiting to see if anyone would buy.
