Well, go me, I was playing on Tuesday, on some GM quest or another, and I crashed. Hard. Whole computer came down... My main question is this: Will I have to go get Pyyran killed (assuming he has to take more than two steps to achieve that), or would I be able to get him ported off of that Kobold-infested Black Ice Island? 'Cause I'm rather worried about that... Gold doesn't really come easy to him. >

Post here before you log in and if a GM is able to, he/she will post here and log in ahead of you to port you before you die. Should you post here and not get a response, and log in and die, send a Tell on the GM Hotline and someone will respond with a non-penalizing raise, free of charge.
Merry Christmas! ZeroVega,

Well, I'm about to get on. I'll give it, say, long enough for me to read the other posts I need to catch up on... Then I'll post again just as I'm hopping on.

Well, here I go... Hope there's a DM on.
Cheers.

Whoever did it, thank you.

Something that you might try in the future... that was fun for me...
Toss a bottle with a note into the ocean... Send a bird with a note...
Several days ago I was near the Haven mines when a bird flew out holding a dead rat with a few bites taken out of it. . .
Attached to the rat was a note with a plea for help.
As it turns out... Derrick knew the person that was trapped so he ducked into the mines. After a distance he follows the smell of pipe smoke to the trapped character.
Though done through tells it turned into a very Fun and funny RP experience.

Very awesome; I played out the recieving of a "bird" last night... Bloody thing attacked Pyyran's head when he ignored it. ^^ Worked out incredibly well, too; the sender of the message showed up right after I was done RPing it. I got a bit tired of the metagamish "sending a bird" thing, so I figured it at least deserved to have an actual IG bird show up. If I had a sorcerer character, I'd send the familiar out to do it, if it were at all possible.
Which reminds me, I have to get to that bio-writing of mine...
