The Flask of oil is priced at 1 gold at the craft vendor, but 11 gold at the magic vendor.

yep its always been like that.

Flasks of oil are used to make torchs, but the magic vendor sells them as components for spells.  And "spell component oil" is obviously of much higher quality and more expensive than torch oil *wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more*

This is due to markup variations, it is only added to the Mage Vendor for convenience.
