Title: The dead ox of mystery - items

Last night I went mining with Gulnyr and Zen, the ox I had got killed and when I got the picks and such off the corpse they were all unidentified. This happens now whenever I get an ox killed and have an opportunity to clear the corpse. All the items are unidentified.
