Title: Level req for resistance
Post by: Pen N Popper on February 19, 2006, 05:46:44 AM
I see a very nice thread for level req for enchanting weapons of various materials.  Is there a similar one for resistance?

I'd also like to know how it works.  What type of items can it be placed on?  (Like could it be placed on a leather belt or just armor or...?)

Resistance can be placed on almost any item that you equip.
But the more common items would be shields, armors, belts, boots and gloves.
You could place resistances on weapons as well.....but that does not make a lot of sense.
Not sure of jewelry but I think it will work as well.

Where's a requirement chart for armors, and reinforced clothing?

With Resistances, since they can go on almost anything, a chart would be too large and rather useless to spend time on.

My suggestions are to NOT place resistances on armors or armor type items as they are usually some of your higher level requirement items. And also not to place them on items that require the level that you are currently at, because they will raise the level requirement at least one level, and much more on less valuable equipments.

I found that resistance if added to say the quest helmet or ronuses boots be they 1 or 2 didn't up the lv requirement but if you put them on 9th level or up, items, count 2-3 lv hike in the requirement of the item proper.
