I would like to say thank you to all the people that actually give their character a description rather than "wanderlust recently lured you into human lands, bla bla bla" or "Your only hope for fame and fortune bla bla bla". When a character has a description of what they look like physically, it gives better RP oppotunities. for example: if a character has in thier description 'this man has a large scar down his face' then you can read it and ask in character how they got it providing a good role play conversation etc. It's nice when a character has an interesting description when you examine them, and i think it should be a rule to describe your character's appearance.

Personally, I just wish there were a better way to change it than going through the requests and grievances with the GMs.

i agree this is very boring when you see a "generic" bio it makes the character look very boring when you look at it i instantly close the examin when i see it

Would be utterly wonderful if the description could be linked to and changed on Lore. Any hope?

Well the problem is that the description is part of the character file, so having any system that allows open editing of character files like that raises the possibility of breaking characters. So for us at this time it's less of a hassle to deal with the requests for changes than it would be to deal with restoring characters from archives.
