It would be incredibly handy if all the "See [[Page X]]" pages would be like #REDIRECT [[Page X]] instead. Currently almost all of the links I click on are such "See X" pages.

The reason they're not redirects is because we don't want people being redirected to a totally differnt named page with little idea why. Believe it or not, most people don't read the redirect messages.
Also, because each See Also type page could potentially refer to any number of other pages (yes most are just one offs right now but we don't have "all the content" we want up yet) so how do you chose which to redirect and which not to?
We've opted for a simple and consistent practice of treating it like an encyclopedia.
