I'm glad my character gets hungry and thirsty... It reminds me to eat and drink myself. Other wise I might shrivle up playing Layonara.
-

HeHe sometimes, in the past, I have gone without food so long i felt dizzy and like passing out, But being a diabetic can't afford to do that so now i just go have to eat cyas bbl. But I know what you mean by reminding us we need to eat too LOL. You can see the headlines but can't you?......
IMMERSION TOO MUCH FOR 34 YR OLD MAN, DIES OF DIABETIC COMA. But what a way to go eh? LoL! The D&D Geeks version of the Thelma and Louise ending??

I'm looking for a hak that tells you at certain intervals to go do whatever.
I would totally be geek enough to set it up to tell me when to call my girlfriend ('cause I forgot to wake her up yesterday, as I was on, doing a crapload of alchemy).

I played a game once upon a time... I think it was Dungeon Keeper... that would allow you to set certain alarams, reminders, and whatnot, so that you could get a notice after so much time had elapsed or a set time was reached. For those of us who sometimes get a little too immersed in our games, this was a pretty nice feature.

did anyone hear about that guy in china or japan or korea that died from playing an MMORPG for like 3 days without eating, sleeping, or using the bathroom?
-
If you forget to do normal body functions while in front of your computer you have been playing Layo. to much. :P
-
umm, yeah, what Force said.... though, there is plenty of alarm software out there that you can run in the background to remind you to do things.
-
Most operating systems have such a feature, which can be set up to create a window and/or play a sound.

Discovered that during a late night Dungeon Keeper 2 session. The message bar would occasionally scroll by, "It's 2:30 in the morning." or "Even Keepers need their sleep, now GO TO BED!!!".

The bathroom bit was a joke to go along with the eating and drinking. Do you guys really think someone would forget to use the bathroom or ignore it to play Layo?
