Title: You Have Been Booted
Post by: Aryn Ravenlocke on March 10, 2006, 09:19:24 PM: I have not been able to log into Layonara with any of my characters. I open NWN and select Multiplayer. I get logged into the Master Server for Gamespy. I go to Direct Connect or to History and select any of the Layo servers. I enter the password. I get the 'Server found. Logging in.' message. Then as soon as that message disappears I get the big box message "You have been booted." This happens with all characters on all servers. This is a particular bummer because Thordan was supposed to get his first real questing in since his bad experience in the UD on someone else's ECDQ.

west.layonara.com
central.layonara.com
east.layonara.com
planes.layonara.com
quest.layonara.com

One of those has to work.

Alas, it seems that there are gremlins making mischief because using each of those I am still getting the same results. I've already missed Brisbane's ECDQ, so I am going to grab a drink of sake and head off to bed. I'll try logging in again after I gte back from the Diamondbacks game in Tucson tomorrow. If anyone needs any info from me I'll happily supply it so that this gets cleared up before next weekend.

Post by: Aryn Ravenlocke on March 12, 2006, 11:23:37 AM: I honestly don't remember if the last successful log in was right before or right after the latest update. I'll go through and make sure all my haks and the tlk are up to date by simply re-installing all of them from the forum downloads. I'll let you know what happens from there. That won't be done until around 9pm MST on Sunday though as the restaurant needs me on what was SUPPOSED to be my day off. (You know, I've been a big supporter of neverletting Layo interfere with R/L - but what about when R/L starts to interfere with winding down and getting your head back on straight and in a proper space?)
