Title: Dicebag and Size bonus
Post by: Witch Hunter on March 31, 2006, 08:31:18 PM
How about adding size bonuses to checks and stuff?
It's quite annoying too see a brownie out-strength a half giant lol.

Well, common strength checks have no size bonuses, so the brownie could beat a halfgiant on an inspired day. Things like grappling and knockdown use size bonuses.

But many use the diceback for those things.
Let say I'm grabbing Renji and stuffing him in a trash can... I should get my size bonus:P

Then that's a Grapple Check, which is essentially a Melee Attack for standard PC classes. Only, you take the opposed integer of the size bonus, and double it, I believe. So, a halfgiant Fighter at level 5 with a strength of 20 would get a bonus of something like this...

+14 Grapple = 5 BAB + 5 STR + 4 Size

That's off the top of my head, though.
