Title: whats up with NWN2 and Layonara

so I have read lots of chatter but don't quite understand maybe someone can help clarify.  Obviously at some point Layonara is going to convert to NWN2.  but the  game isn't out is it?  How long until LayonaraOnline is NWN2?  Will it be exclusively NWN2 ? How much of the world that exists now will be converted?  what happens to all of the characters ( do they convert or disapear?)  what about the story lines? I am so new I am not really involved but will the whole Bloodstone thing be over before NWN2? are all of these questions already answered somewhere and I just havn't found it?  thanks,
