Title: Disappearing water skin

I seem to be having an issue with one of my characters.  Her first water skin randomly disappeared from her inventory with no obvious reason.  So I bought another and also a couple of spares just incase one disappeared again (it being that the initial disappearance had occurred quite a way from a water source and caused her some issues!).  Anyway, fine for a couple of in game days, then both spares disappeared.

Any suggestions for the cause?  Is there something really obvious I'm missing.

You mean the canteens right?

Did you fill them in a well/fresh water source? There is a certain percentage chance that they start to leak (i.e. gets deleted)... :)
