i was wondering what are the rules in this place in Velensk? or are they written in the arena?

No "Rules" Really, as far as I know just only attack people standing in the arena.

I (Rhynn) Went there for the first time yesterday.. Usually two people stand at opposite corners, and buff if need be, and there is someone in the arena off to the side..

That person counts down from three to one and says ~Enjoy (Well, That's how It was done)

and the battle commences...

Really, Don't go into the arena for hopes of victory. its just a place to test out new spells and stratagies in a safe environment

The Arena's a lot of fun.  I avoided the Arena for some stupid reason but it's a great place to try new stuff.

Freldo had his pretty buns handed to him by a bikini clad Addison with her Mighty +10 Rose of Freldo-Slaying.  It's also a great place to fool around with some really crazy stuff, I hope somebody takes Freldo down there to beat him up with a fan, umbrella or rubber chicken.  :D

It's also a great place for some nifty roleplaying as per Freldo's duel with Ash yesterday - juiced up ultraviolent roleplaying... w0000t!

There should be more events down there - free tournaments just for fun.

Ozy's lucky Ketil's glass eye popped out otherwise it would've been a massacre.  You got lucky this time... but next..!  *shakes fist* ;)

Grympint's ready to bash the heck out of Freldo with the back of his axe...if he wants, he can imagine it's a rubber chicken everytime he gets bludgeoned.  :D

So, can you battle somebody here and even if you win (or kill them) not get a PK because it's not real or something? Kind of unclear on that.

Can you fight in the Dueling Arena and even if you win, not actually kill the person you're dueling?

Well, there is no "winning." Just whoever quits or dies first, loses.

No you dont get a PK when you defeat someone in the Arena atleast Zandor did not get one when I was fighting there.
