Can anybody inform me of the Spellswords's BAB? Does he progress as a fighter, a cleric type, or a wizard type? Thank You
-
Asmodean would know, as he plays a spellsword. (Iradril Arkenrhal) Unfortunately, I think he is out of town for a couple of days. I think a spellsword's BAB is like that of a cleric, but I am not 100% sure.

This thread is part of a discussion of the spellsword class. The BAB does progress like a cleric, that information is in the discussion included here:

Hope that helps!
The posts made by ghostwhowalks and Asmodean probably contain the information you are looking for. ;)

heh. Thanks Ed. I always do things the hard way. :)

Really appreciate the help guys. Thanks!

Bah, you people make it so much harder searching the forums, when you can just turn to LORE. *grins*
Do a Query for "Base Attack Bonus." You would see that every class is listed under their appropriate BAB.
Also, if you went to the Spellsword class page, you'd find a link to the BAB page, as every class page has one.

When i played a Spellsword, the BAB progression was the same as a Wizard/Sorcerer, which is +1/2 Levels.
But if this was changed, then obviously i might be wrong and the class is improved, which is nice. ;)

As a general rule of thumb, classes split this way on BAB.
Fully Combative: BAB = Level Ex. Fighter, Ranger
Split Focus (Combat & Skills/Magic): BAB = 3/4 Level Ex. Rogue, Cleric
Primarily Noncombatice (Spellcasters): BAB = 1/2 Level Ex. Wizard, Sorceror
