I have a sorceres named Sonya DarkAngel that I'm thinking of giving a crafting to do for when even she is not with others on some adventure. but I'm not sure what will be the best for her.
She has the folowing stats: str 10 dex 14 con 14 int 12 wis 10 and Cha 17
what would she be best in? gem/jewelry crafting, tailoring or something else.
let me know, please?

Forget the stats. Craft what would be appropriate for your character's interests. It's about characters not numbers.

Since charisma is your main stat and you also have a decent dexterity, then gem crafting is your best choice. It's a great craft, my favourite.
When choosing a craft, don't take your stats as a basis, they will make a 5-10% difference and it really doesn't matter much. Every character can excel at any craft, it just takes a bit more or a bit less work, so you should choose a craft that would fit your character and that you yourself would enjoy.
Have fun crafting :)

Charisma and Dexterity are the prime statz for Jewlry workingz. I think your tinking skill will be ok enough to make zee molds for zee ringz and necklaces. I am allwayz lookingsz for peoplez to help me work zee minez, and I know a couple of good ore minerz that can suply zee ingotz too.
I would gradly trade eagle splender spells to you for cats grace spellz. I am unable to cast those.

Yeah it doesnt matter about stats. Sin'dolin has Crafted everything he could.Even mining and smithing with his 8 str.
It boils down to what craft you like.

The Cleric I play has the following stats (aasimar):
Ability Scores:
Strength 14
Dexterity 14
Constitution 10
Intelligence 10
Wisdom 20
Charisma 16
And here is my current tradeskill (crafting) progress:
Tradeskill Exp. Level
Alchemy 14
Armour Crafting 13
Enchanting 15
Food Crafting 11
Gem Crafting 16
Infusing 12
Scribing 12
Smelting 15
Tailoring 21
Tinkering 20
Weapon Crafting 16
Wood Crafting 15
180 crafting levels combined!
As you can see, it does not really matter what your stats are, if you are determined (and can cast spells for certain crafts like scribing, enchanting and infusing) you can accomplish much in a wide variety of skills.
Actually, having lower stats in required areas means that you will have a harder time at the beginning of a craft, but will have an easier time reaching higher levels without having to use extremely rare CNR components (as you can see with my tinkering level -- tinkering requires dexterity and intelligence which are not my cleric's strongest attributes!). Its a tradeoff that can shoot a low level character up the crafting ranks.
My cleric is only level 12 now and he attained most of the above crafting ranks before level 10!
I love this crafting system in its own right and I will be sorry to see it go in NWN2 if it does.

I got 1 little problem if I wanna get mining I can't because my character can't wield that axe to cut the copper out. and I don't wanna take a extra feat for that.
just a small problem I think.
