A warnign to all travellers: Shadows have been spotted in and around the area of Hlint, as well as Leilon. Be wary of shadows along the roads or in those locales. The reasons for these attacks remain at large, so it is recommended you travel safely and well-equipped.
Be careful on the roads.

I seek some allies to help me deal with this threat as best I can, please look for me around Hlint.

Yes, some shadows and shades attacked me near Broken Halls, while I was on the road. Not sure it is related. But I reported the incident to some people in Hlint, and as they didn't took it for a serious threat or too unusual, I let it go. I did went back there just to make sure and none were there anymore. So I let the matter go.
Seems it was maybe more than just some wandering Shadows.

*Cymeran Vrinn looks at the note, scratches his head, smokes some flattbottom leaf, and jots down a thought or two*
They seemz to be wandering a bit, hey? This leads me to suspect that they are, ahhh, looking for something, yes. Perhaps thiz iz, ahhh, in conection with zee broken woods, no? I know I've been a wee bit paronoid about that place, and thinken everything haz to do with zee broken woods, but ahhh, where did zee shadows there go too anyhow?
*Smokes some more flatbottow leaf*
If someone is searching for something, I recons they want it pretty badly. Maybe in connection with this, I saw with me own eyes, a, ahhhh how should I describe it, a flying eye ball passing through Hint recently, yes. Definately a flying eye ball. I don't know man, thingz be getting kinda strange around here.

*a short, neatly printed note reads:*
I encountered a group of five shadows inside the barricades of the camp on Krashin through which one must pass to board the boats sailing for the island of the ice caves.

*Sallaron stops by the notes, reading each in turn. He frowns, concerned *
"What is going on?" he mumbles, " Broken Wood off limits was fine, everyone knows not to go there. But Shadows turning up anywhere they like! What if they turn up at some School outing, or in the midst of a public carnival?!?! Something must be done, before the innocent and young become the casualties."

Notably powerful shades were encountered and dispatched by the cave mouth in Sielwood. Do be cautious while travelling there.

*Gel reads the notes and takes a deep breath..*
Could these sightings possibly mean that Bloodstone is making an incursion in to Mistone, with the Broken Woods as a nexus? I maybe paranoid but someone with influence should talk to the Queen if there is a chance that this is true. Preparation is key as we fight the war against Sinthar.

Also shadows have turned up in the Dire Woods. And the Specters there are thicker than any swarms I've ever encountered.

*Cymeran Vrinn posts update*
Two of zee shades were in zee west gate of Hint today. I would be uncertian as to if they came in alone, or were, how should I say, invited as perhaps a goblin would be...
I also encountered a groupe of 3 shades in zee High Moors. There were normal looking shades to me, ahh not clothed.
Zee ones in hint were wearing cloaks of some kind, and had glowing purple eyes, yes.
AnnaLee McGregger would be another witness to this event if you are uncumfortable with speaking to a dark elf. For the greater good ofcourse.
