Title: House size

I purchased 230 Pranzis today, and to my suprise, a house about 65 thousand gold dearer, and on the outside, a house that looks much bigger, has the exact same interior as the smaller, hole in the floor huts, which can be purchased in Pranzis.
  Am I to assume, that with buying a house that appears to be darn lot bigger, all i've done is buy a house with a prettier exterior? Just wondering, is this the intentional design of the house or just a mix up with house sizes?

It's not a mixup, although if you so choose, you can have the interior of the house remodled to maybe suit your needs a little better.
