There are spiders plaguing the town of Hlint and the surrounding areas. Please use proper precaution, protective spells and the likes. Keep your weapons where you can grab them quickly

I can sign to this. While gathering iron with Synal'dur, we were attacked first at Lake Alon, and at certain keyjunktions in Haven mines. I were able to identify the spiders as Bastard Sword Spider, Hollow Wrath Spider and Dark Spider.
-Lin'da
-
They were also spotted at the Haven Mines, where me and Lin'da took some down.
Be on your guard.

Dark Spiders?
Oh pickle.
Hey! Wasn't there an expedition to clear the spiders from the sewers of Hlint a while ago?
-
Looks like we need another expedition. My fists are ready to smash these annoying vermin.

This again? My bow and blade are at the ready, and I'll be along whenever the call goes up for an extermination group. ~Pyyran Rahth

I also spotted what appeared to be phase spiders in red light, as well as a dire spider lurking outside of leilon.

I spotted some interesting spiders in the Hlint crypts. The seem to be like most of the undead there. I just thought I'd warn everyone about it.

I'll be back in town tomorrow (//rlt - later today). I can help.
P.S. - I have a box of skeleton knuckles available for sale.

I spotted unusual spiders in the Seilwood Forest and Cave. It was rather disturbing.

A'yup.. I was sittin' on the benches by the pond in Hlint and a dire spiderling came up to me like he owned the town.. pretty odd..

I encountered Dire spiderlings and thire mother (I assume) at lake Rilion on Rilara while Fishing. Never seen any spiders there before the many times I have fished there. Snuck up behind me, but I was able to take care of them. Sounds like its time for an extermination of some kind . . . .

*posted alongside Tegan's note*
We also just encountered a Dark Spider outside of Leilon not too long ago. It was dispatched along with several other dire and giant spiders. This is the first I have seen a Dark Spider on Mistone. I can't help but believe that the drow are somehow responsible for this.

*Ael posts the following at the Surge:*
A red spider recently appeared near the well next to the Surge and proceeded through town to the east, ignoring all bystanders and appearing to search for something. It took to the roofs in the east part of town before vanishing - I believe Abigail tracked it as far as the eastern wall. This type of spider is clearly a minion of Ca'Duz. Shortly after the red spider disappeared, we detected and killed a lone drow priest wearing an spider amulet of Ca'Duz.
Clearly, the appearances of spiders throughout Mistone indicates Ca’Duz is focusing his attention and power here, for some dark purpose. Please report here all appearances of the giant red spiders. These spiders are clearly servants of Ca’Duz, either under his direct control or that of powerful minions of his.
I believe the temple in Saudiria may be able to provide more information about these powerful red spiders.
Remiel witnessed some of the events, and shared his recollection of a legend that came to mind, regarding the drow gods finally rising and bringing to the surface their war to claim mastery over all of the realm, as they have promised their devout for ages, since the drow were driven from the surface. In general the prophecy states Ca’Duz and the Mother of Darkness will seek to obtain a weapon that when released, will rend the surface. In the wake of this destruction a devout of Toran and a child of blue fire will rise from the rubble to oppose the dark powers.
After hearing the prophecy, some witnesses pondered whether the red spiders were searching for the shadow blade, to steal it from us. Yet at least one who held elements of the blade was present during these appearances, and none were attacked by the spiders appearing to search the place. Hearing Remiel’s account of the prophecy led me to recall a similar tale in which the two gods would first seek something of divine power, and would wield this thing as a weapon against all who opposed them. The best I can express this concept in the common tongue is “weapon of the gods”.
Please share further insights into these happenings here, or contact me directly by falcon messenger.

*Sallaron spots the message and has a quick read*
Trouble comes, and the storm brews. This is likely a small part of a larger puzzle.
-
*Walking into the inn from his trip to Spellgard Brac'ar says* "Spiders? Hmm... I've also encountered them just outside of Spellgard... Fascinating."
*Muttering under his breath he walks on towards his room*
-
*Lee remembering the posted note comes in to the Surge and looks it over. She scribes carefully* I've seen one... not red, but she didn't attack me... an i think she was tryin to tell us something.. just can't quite understand it...
*a blue ink spot left is a tell tale sign that there was more to write but for some reason Lee changed her mind. As she puts her pen away she mutters to herself something about 'Lee the Addled'*
-
*Rend walks up, and writes something on a piece of paper, before sticking it to the wall*
I was with Lee when she saw the spider... didn't seem to want to hurt us though, just led us on a tour through the crypts, speaking of the crypts, someone needs to do something about the undead infestation down there.

*Gel walks up and reads the extensive lists of spider sightings, and blenches. He pulls out his quill and writes...*
If anyone would like to go on a campaign to rid the lands of these spider infestations, although that will probably prove futile as I have attmpted it in Sielwood for a couple of years to no avail, contact me.
-Gel'larian Windsbreath, Devout Arachnophobe

Have there been any further sightings? Those with further whispers of this seek out Bumblebee in Hlint.
Bring their venom sacks as well so that I might examine them.
