hahaha YES!!
-
*sighs* somethings simply do better beeing buried in unholy ground and forgotten.

Transformers! Robots in disguise! Transformers! More than meets the eye! AAAAH!!! Now look what you made me do... *sighs* All the mornings where I can't be bothered getting up and the only things on TV are transformers and blues clues... so annoying... although blues clues is pretty cool... *starts humming* We just got a letter, we just got a letter, we just got a letter, I wonder who it's from!

I knew this movie was coming years ago. ever since I saw that car advert where the car transforms into a robot and starts dancing. I said "you watch. A transformers movie will be incoming soon."
And lo and behold....
-
Nice - I used to love these things! Now all I'll need is an A-Team movie and I'll be in heaven!

I think it is high time for a fullscreen adaptation. I hope though that they stay true to form and make it about the robots, and not just make it like some cheesey godzilla movie where nameless humans blunder through a mundane action-movie quest with brief snippets of the main stars fighting outside, with a vaugely connected plot making no sense. Hollywood... tends to do that, on purpose I think. Just another outlet for the Illuminati to smash our dreams and make us good little servants of the Galactic Empire.
-
I'm also hoping they stay true to the original and by original I mean early 80's, not the new versions. I'd prefer some serious story here and not just stupid one-liners with special effects. The original cartoon movie had some dark undertones to it. I hope this is doubly so. The slogan "Their war, our world" looks promising, but *shrugs* only so much you can tell from that link.
-
Hmm, then again after reading a bit about it I'm a little worried. Tyrese, Bernie Mack *shudders* - I think it'll end up looking like those cheesy Godzilla movies and Hollywood will be a strong influence *sigh* I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out exactly like you said Lon:
"make it like some cheesey godzilla movie where nameless humans blunder through a mundane action-movie quest with brief snippets of the main stars fighting outside, with a vaugely connected plot making no sense."

I can't find the trailer... shouldn't there be a trailer out already?
-
Not a trailer, but a 30 second clip can be found here showcasing a white and blue Optimus Prime transforming.
